NYS Workmans Compensation, Social Security Disability Benefits

can i also apply for SS Disability at the age of 63 if I have an award for Workman's Compensation, ( a temp award reviewed every 6 weeks for $500 )

Yes you can. However, there will be a compensation "set aside" for your SSD award. If I am not mistaken I think it is about 33.3 percent. You should definately call the social security board to double check this.
