Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York
I am a senior receiving workers comp & ssi benefits. Can I legally do volunteering for a small stipend & not report it?

Absolutely NOT. If you work in any capacity - paid on the books, off the books, volunteer you MUST report it. Such activity shows an ability to work and if not disclosed can disqualify you from benefits and lead to possible monetary and CRIMINAL sanctions. It is not worth it and certainly a poor choice. REPORT IT!
