Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

I settled a workers comp claim and they said I couldn't receive any monies for my back injury because it's not on the "schedule loss" and they can't determine when my back injury will recover (probably never) is this true?

That is true. Unfortunately, in New York the back and neck are not considered schedulable sites of injury. Other states are different. If I were you I would write your senator. I think that the law is totally unfair.
