Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

terminated while on compensation

I was injured at work I injured my right knee had surgery the surgery did'nt correct the injury I need knee replacement I have been out of work for 1 year what is my next step they have termanited my medical insurance I need a second opiopion for my knee replacement is comp supoose to pay for me to have the second opionion

Do you have comp attorney? If not, you should get one to fight this for you. In addition, you may be eligible for social security disability benefits if you have been out of work and have enough work credits. Please feel free to contact me if we can help you.
