Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

i am a total disability, with severe depression work related. workers comp case. my weekly rate is $300 dollars. $14000 a year.my medical treatment and medications cost the insurance co about $18000 ayear. i am 40 years old and this case has been open for 8 years.what is my settlement worth?

Since I want to give you an accurate but conservative answer, I will say this... Unless there are issues that you are not telling me about such as voluntary wage loss, fraud, recent degree of disability litigation or something else, an insurance company would probably accept 5 1/2 years of your current rate in exchange for you relinquishing your rights to further workers compensation medical and wage benefits. However, if you have social security disability you will receive less b/c the government will take a percentage of your settlement.
