Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

Hi I was injured at work and now I have a herniated disk in my lower back and leg pains the mri shows. the doctor has not relased me to go back to work but i have not recived no money from the carrier it been a month about now. I don't know how long i have to wait for ?And how do i know if they approved me for my claim

It usually takes three to four weeks for your first check. The carier probably did not recieve a medical report or the one they did get was not sufficient. CAll the carrier or get an attorney.
