Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

workers comp in ny

my husband has been out of work for 4 year due to rsd . we went out of state for treatment and comp sent us to ime doctor.. ime doc does not have much experience dealing with rsd and wants us to try hardware implants which we are against. can comp push us to get the treatment that ime doc says is appropriate
