Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York
workmans comp
In 1997, I had an active comp case for carpul tunnel. I have never received payment and the company has left our area. In Feb. I was referred to my Dr. because it has gotten worse. My doctor isn't proceeding with surgery pending comp authorization. Is there something I can do or is there a time limitation?

Re: workmans comp
get a slu. find out the doctor that your local comp attorneys use to get a permanency evaluation and go to him for a schedule loss of use report. This will get you some money. There may be other issues. That is why you should get a local comp attorney. Go to the injured workers bar association to find an attorney in your area.
