Counterfit Amarican Express Check

What can I do? I had American Express checks sent to me to have cashed, then to end out western union. I had them cashed then sent them out. I checked my account later and the checks where counterfit. I tried to stop the western union but the were picked up already. The Western Union was sent to Nigeia and the checks were sent from another country. Is there anything I can do? Please help.

Yes the money may be recoverable.

A whole lot issues arises here and to enable us give you a sound advise we would like you inform us on the following:

1. The amount involved

2. The name of the receiver of the werstern union and name on the americam express chech with country of origin

3. Werstern union would also be able to produce certain information yo you which you would send to us like:

1. The photo of the receiver

2. The time of collection

3. Point of collection
