can a confessional statement be tendered at the stage of trial-within-trial?

A confessional statement can be tendered during trial -within- trial but will only be admitted in evidence where the trial Judge finds out that the accused person made the statement volutarily. But where the trial Judge finds out that the said confessional statement was not made volutarily by the accused then he will reject it.
