Legal Question in Employment Law in Nigeria
Hello, Please analyze the comment below which i intend writing on my employer's annual performance appraisal and see if they could use it to actually dismiss me from their employ on "usage of insultive and abusive language" ............... Having being re-assigned to C & P 1yr ago (after 4yrs of functional mobility from my JIFUP as a Process Engr to OML 58 as Field Engr and PHC as Field Ops Support Engr, all in JVA Onshore). I�ve not only improved on Process Eng methodologies (thanks to the Process team headed by Mr Gustavo) but, often wondered why I�d been on a grade for 5yrs now (having joined in 2005). This wonderment has been having some sort of de-spiriting and demoralizing effects on me, with an occasional feeling of been �enslaved� especially considering the fact that peers that even came after me, are now a grade higher-I did struggled to shelve these effects aside in the last 1yr for the sake of my new dept/div. However, I humbly and earnestly wish to state at this defining moment, that if anyone out there still truly and convincingly thinks I should remain on this grade for another one yr i.e 6yrs on a grade by 2010, then that individual should be open and bold enough to use whatever reasons he has and had had, to initiate a dismissal process asap.
