Further question sirs- There is nothing like lieu of or pay off package. This is an unilateral settlement from bank new management side. We have not recd any communication as yet. But we shud have recd 3 months salary + other allowances + ticket back home. That is how the discussion had commenced. Now they are giving us only 14 days of salary for which we worked. Our appointment letters are crystal clear that nothing of CBN approval is mentioned. Now we are just waiting as to what to do? We have no vehicles to go and meet any lawer and cant afford their fee. Can I only write to the new managment cc to Central Bank (Shud I write to Nigerian Embassy, Lagos, India, Indian Embassy also for help). Can I continue my claim even after going back home since I cant stay here indefinitely. Moreover, we cannot be penalised for bank's failure in not obtaining the CBN approval at the right time. It is not notice salary-it is the damage done to us (so many senior level executives brought from India here), our careers and our families.
I am grateful to your continuous feedback/guidance on this.

Yes, based on the circumstances, you can go ahead and write the letter quoting copiously from your employment letter/agreement.
