Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina
I own a piece of property with my home on it in North Carolina. There is a lot between mine and the main road, but there is an old dirt road in between the properties that has been abononed since the early 1970's and not has been maintained its just an old dirt road with the other property in between mine and the dirt road is just a bunch of woods with fallen trees all through it and no one has maintained it for over twenty years. My question is can I use part of the old abononed dirt road as a part of my property by North Carolina law.I found an old survey paper from 1972 that says it was abondoned way back then..Thank You. ( I've wriiten you on this for the third time now, what makes me think you'll answer my questions any sooner if I paid you for the services..Something just don't seem right to me onthis matter.

Well, you are hoping to get free legal advice on a very complicated legal matter.
No lawyer with any sense is going to give you an answer without looking at the deeds, survey, and other evidence.
The thing that is not right is your sense of entitlement to free legal advice.
