Legal Question in Banking Law in North Carolina
Banking
I have 2 accounts with my bank. 1 account was overdrawn by 22$ and they charged me 210$ in overdraft fees. Then they took the only money that I had in my other account (150$) to try and compensate for the overdrawn balance. After that, they put through another charge for a purchase I had made a few days prior, and I got an overdraft fee for that as well, so now both of my accounts are overdrawn, I have absolutely no money to sustain myself for the next week until I get paid again. I feel that I am being charged too much money, that this is unfair, and I was wondering if I had any grounds for legal action.
