Power of Attorney -

What monetary/financial resposibilty does the POA have on bills acquired from some one else? I have a POA signed many years ago when my grandmother lived in my home. She later moved in with my uncle and later he moved her into an assisted living residence. He has since past away. I recently discovered that He/she acquired a large debt by not paying the monthly fees. Who is liable?

Who aigned for the debt? Why did you say he/she? For whom was the POA to be exercized?
