Legal Question in Bankruptcy in North Carolina

After filing bankruptcy in 2006, my home mortgage & home equity loans stop reporting my payments to the big 3 Credit Agency, they are actually listed as closed out. My B.R. lawyer refused to reopen my case in order to have these two open accounts (Loans) continue reporting my monthy payments. I have been making these payments ever since B.R. & need these two loans to report me as doing so in order to rebuild credit. What can I do? Thank you for your help. Tim C.

You may have a credit reporting problem. It could be, that no reporting is required if you did not reaffirm. The bankruptcy court cannot compel payment reporting. Consumer credit laws will provide a remedy for improper adverse reporting. You should see a lawyer who works in the credit reporting field.
