icannot pay for legal help but i need to file bankruptcy

Call lawyers who advertise in your area. Tell them why you need to file and why you cannot afford it. Should one of the lawyers file for you at little or no cost, he or she can file an application to have the $299.00 filing fee waived. I believe the court grants just about every application for waiver.
