How long does a jugment typically last? What can be affected exactly? Land, bonds, c.d.s? Does the amount continue to increse over time if debt is unpaid?

Re: Judgments

Judgments last 10 years and can be renewed for an additional 10 years after that. The judgment will attach to real property and must be satisfied if you attempt to sell the property. The amount you owe will increase over time as the creditor is entitled to interest in the debt.
