Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina
abandament/kidnapping
i work as abouncer at a stripclub.if one of our girls decides to leave walking and we tell her not go .we will get a ride for her but she refuses and said she is to meet someone up the road.the girl has been drinking but she is in her right state of mind to person ,place ,and time.if something was to happen to her would we be held responsable? and if we kept her there against her will that would be kidnapping ? even thoe its for her own saftey?

Re: abandament/kidnapping
Generally speaking, you would be under no obligation to provide a ride or security for her in that situation, and you would in fact have no authority to restrain her against her will, especially if she is oriented to time and location.
