Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina

I am a co-owner of a small business. I bought the business in 2010. I have recently received a bill from the IRS for a penalty for not filing W-2's in 2008. Am I liable.

You need to speak to a tax attorney ASAP. You should not be liable as you were not involved at the time, but you need to head this off before the IRS lays liability on you.
