Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina
We have been with Dish network sense march of 2010. When we signed up we subscribed for the 120+ channel package for only $29.99. They took that out for the first three months but it slowly kept rising. I'm now paying $80.52 only four dollars less of their "everything package" My husband and i are a busy couple and did not notice it until we just recently checked sense we kept going negative in our bank. they have taken a total of close to $300 from us from the past few months & they refuse to reimburse us. Is there something i can do? we could really use that money back and its not right for them to do this.

As a Franchise Attorney I can tell you this is a common practice. They get you to sign up for a low "introduction rate," then the prices go up and up. There's not much to be done, except cancel your service and start over with someone else. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for more specific advice.
