Hotel contract help!!!
I am a Wedding Planner and my client is having problems with a hotel she booked for her reception. She can't come up with the money and she needs to cancel but the hotel wants 95% of the event because of loss of revenue. The woman keeps threatening to turn it over to corporate and keeps calling my client's work and cell phone numerous times a day. She even told her boss, ''well she is supposed to work today where is she at?'' The contracts says there is a $300 deposit but the hotel said to wait. They have no money from my client and no credit card information. She honestly can't pay $2100 for the event. What are her options?

Re: Hotel contract help!!!
Your friend should tell this hotel woman that she will pay the $300 in return for their signing a release of liability for any further sums connected with this transaction.
And, furthermore, that they can take it or leave it.
