Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina
Is there a law against restricting commerce by a company selling one account and not selling a competitor nearby? Is the company obligated by law to sell both companies if they both ask for the product or service? Can the company say no to one prospect because there is a current customer down the street if it is not a francise being sold?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. Companies can usually sell to whoever they want. That's been a long standing commercial practice. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
