Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina

We are a screenprinting business. He is a graphic design business. People send him orders for garments, we print them for his business, and resells them to his customers. We have shipped multiple orders to him, so we sent him an invioice of all those UPS shipping fees. He believes because he was not satisfied with his last two orders that he is not obligated to pay that. I know legally, that is not the case. But now he has sent us an invoice for triple the amount we have asked him for, requesting for us to pay for his garments that he reordered from a distributor in order for us to reprint his garments. We reprinted his garments at no cost to him. We never agreed to pay for the garments as well. That is not our standard practice. We even removed the shipping fee for the messed up order off of the UPS payments. He is saying if we dont pay him, he will take us to small claims court. This was all just a retort to us asking for money from him

You're probably just better off forgetting about this guy and keep building your business. The judge is going to laugh at him.

Good luck.
