We are a small company in nc. one o ou cutomer closed without warning leaving unpaid bills. they have not filed for any type of protection under law. what can we do?

Any attorney will say you can always try and file a lawsuit to collect what you are owned. Depending on the amount, it may be possible in small claims court. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
