Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina

I sold a store some wholesale merchandise and they refuse to pay. We've made three attempts to collect and they keep coming up with excuses. They are 40 days past due on a net 30 account. What are my options at this point.

Try having an attorney write them a demand letter. If a demand letter fails, your recourse is to sue them, possibly in small claims court, depending on the amount owed. These kinds of cases are highly fact dependent so you should consult an attorney in your area for specifics.
