Legal Question in Business Law in North Carolina
Do I need some sort of a license in order to give summer drama lessons to children? They would be held at a local cultural arts center that I would be renting, and there would be a small fee to join the classes.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. You ordinarily need a business license to operate any type of business. Your local city hall can provide the forms and details. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive process. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
