Do I need an Attorney to file a ''contempt of court '' charge against my ex wife for not complying with a court approved consent order regarding property distribution? If ''no'' what stepts do I take?

Since one files for an Order to Show Cause, not contempt of court, you might well benefit from the assistance of someone who knows the procedures and the language of the civil justice system. Consult a Domestic Relations attorney in your town.
