When answering questions pertaining to rumors at work, should and can you request the questions in a written format and/or a neutral third party present?

If you work for a private employer (non goverment company), constitutional rules...except discrimination don't really apply. You have the right to request these things, but this is governed by your company policies and employee handbook. That will dictate if you have the right to your requests
