Legal Question in Consumer Law in North Carolina
Hi, had a car with a bank and after years I went to the bank and they decrease the amount I was paying and gave me a document saying that for now I'm paying one hundred fifty dollars. After more than three years, they told me a couple of months ago that they will raise the payment to the previous amount and after I defaulted they repossess the car. My question is it legal since the document I have now states that for now my payment is 150 dollars and that there is no limit of time on it. Thanks!

We would need to see the agreement to determine what rights the dealer gave themselves to revert to the old terms. You should consult with a contracts attorney in your area.
