Legal Question in Consumer Law in North Carolina
Some folk don't appreciate good customers, when it come to auto payments. I make my car payments a week in advance, before due date and I'm on a fixed income. This morning after 10+ calls and a fax, I finally got the secretary on the phone. I confirmed my card info. She claimed the transaction declined. Me, her, and my banker had a 3 way conversation. He, too confirmed the payment went through. She insisted that she had the receipt . So, I called her back to request a copy of the transaction, she refused. She claimed the receipt was too light....is she a psychic? She never tried to send me a copy after putting me on hold for a long time. What do you think is going here? They had payment issues one (month) time before. Something is very wrong here. The amount for my car payment is showing as deducted from my account, confirmed by my bank. Who else have they pulled this scheme on?

Are you asking a question? I would fax them a letter asking for a complete copy of your payment history. If they refuse to give you one, complain to the North Carolina Attorney General's office. If they give it to you and it does not match your bank records, have your banker print you a report of every payment made to them, and fax them a dispute letter enclosing the printout.
I'm sorry, but this is a general advice forum only. Unless you ask a specific question we can only "guess".
