Legal Question in Consumer Law in North Carolina
Foreign object in food
My 16 year old son found a 1 1/4 inch metal blade in his pre-packaged shrimp fried rice. Do I have any options for suing or getting some form of settlement? He did not ingest it, nor did it cause him any physical damage.

Without any physical injuries, your son has no claim, except for a refund of the rice.
