Legal Question in Consumer Law in North Carolina
Under the lemon law can I get back the the car I traded, and void the deal? I haven't had the car 30 days and check engine light came on and it is driving terribly. When I took it to an auto store they put it on a computer said it registered 3 different cylinder misfires. They told me not to drive it anymore than necessary or there could be permanent engine damage. I am going to speak with the dealer today and wanted to know my rights. Thank you!

You do not mention if this is a new car or a used car. If it is a used car, your rights are limited - especially if the car was sold "as is".
