There are no laws in NC on this. Read the terms of the warranty. Warranties can be one or more years or 90 days.

As long as you raised the issue within the warranty period, the warranty will apply. The company has to honor the warranty within a commercially reasonable time. What is commercially reasonable depends on the type of product or service that we are dealing with.

I do not know what the period would be. Is it because of a defective part? Have you talked to a local bike shop to find out what the average repair time is?

If they still have not dealt with it, I would take the bike elsewhere and have it fixed. Before you do, I would send a certified letter to someone in charge at the warranty company explaining the problem and demanding resolution. Tell them you will hold them liable if they fail to respond. The problem you face though is your costs might be small and if the company is not in NC, then you cannot sue them in small claims in NC.

Feel free to contact me if you need me to send a letter to the warranty company on your behalf.
