Legal Question in Consumer Law in North Carolina
I signed a materials specifications contract with a roofing company. I am not hearing horrible things about this company. The only legalese in the contract is as follows: I agree to allow XXX (the company name is crossed out in the contract) to complete all prescribed repairs at prices determined by my insurance carrier. Projected supplements are to be paid by your insurance carrier. These supplements may vary depending on the final agreed amount between your insurance carrier and Acme Roofing. Any and all supplements are owed to Acme Roofing. Is this binding?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Unfortunately we need to see the contract to give you an answer. You should take your contact to an attorney in your area to review. No attorney is comfortable making an assessment based on a segment of it.
