CIvil Law Notice of Hearing

After responding to a Civil Summons, how long does it take to know if there will be a Notice of Hearing sent? Is there a time limit, like to 30 days to respond to a summons?

You have 30 days to respond to a summons. You could make a motion for extension of time for additional 30 days if you know how.
