My husband has a debt that was for a credit card. We were contacted by a Cambece Law in MA and they said they work for Collect America who bought the debt. They have been demanding we pay the full amount and refuse a payment setup. They have call and harrassed me to tears and they called my husband's work and used profane language with his boss. They say they are going to sue us and take our house or other assets. Isn't it wrong for them to harrass us and use profane language? What can we do? We do want to pay the debt, but not to someone who acts this way.
