Is this a true car mechanic's lien or a lien on your home or land?

There are procedures which ar car mechanic must go through if he wants to sell your car and you may be able to contest the sale. If this is a lien on your home, the lien will dissolve and become unenforceable unless the person who improved your property follows up the lien with a legal action in 6 months. The lien stays there however until its removed by one of the methods set forth in the statute.

Any way you look at this, you are probably going to need a lawyer to get the lien resolved. I suggest that you contact a local lawyer in the county where the lien was imposed on your property to get this handled.

You also state the lien was "fraudulent" but you provide no details as to why. There obviously is a dispute of some kind between what was provided and what you owe. Depending on the agreement that you had, if any, you may need to see what it says about resolving disputes. For example, if you had work done to your home and a dispute arose, the contract may require arbitration of disputes.
