For what? There is no right to credit. Before you get upset, first get a copy of your credit report from all 3 major credit bureaus (www.annualcreditreport.com). You are allowed one free credit report per year from each bureau. You also get a free report if you have been denied credit, so you will need that letter. Review your reports. Are there inaccuracies on there, like a bankruptcy?

If so, get it cleared up. If the company just made a mistake and you really want to have a credit card with that company (query - if you were denied credit, do you really want to go with this company?) and do not want the denial on your credit report, then write to that company, by certified mail. Provide them with proof (like your credit report once it is fixed) that this is not you and this is not your bankruptcy and ask them to fix it. It is easy to find company addresses - companies all have websites. Or try the bbb if you know where a company is at.

If you privately want to email me the name of the company, I may be able to point you in the right direction.
