Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina

I have been on disability for two years and have fallen behind in my credit card bills. Presently I am 65 and collecting social security, a small pension, and small IRA. I also have a checking account. Which of these are judgement proof?

All of these are exempt from execution. What other assets do you have? You also need to keep all the exempt income (pension and SS) separate - do not commingle with non-exempt funds or another person. Will you ever need credit? If not, you may want to do nothing if there are no assets that the creditors can grab.
