Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina
Judgement
If we cannot provide the money we owe, the execution of judgement will then be issued. Will the sheriff dept come to our house and start taking things? We don't have anything of value in our home that are even worth selling. We are still paying for our house and car, what will they do next

You have a right to claime exemptions. Before execution, you should have received a notice of right to claim exemptions which must be filled out and returned to the court and the creditor's attorney within 20 days of service.
