Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina

We live in North Carolina. An attorneys office Frederick J Hanna in Marietta, Georgia sent us an collection letter from Bank of America credit card account we can not pay because of job loss. What can they do to us legally??

I know this is old, but nothing. They are not licensed in NC nor are any of there attorneys. Bank of America, if they want to, will hire (if they have not done so already) a firm in North Carolina (could be Smith Debnam, Sessoms & Rogers or others) to file suit against you.
