Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina

motion to claim exempt property

Can a motion for exempt property be sent more than once. That is, a judgment was filed against me a number of years ago in Guilford County NC. I filed the motion on time and sent it to the clerk of court and the plaintiff's attorney. Now I am receiving another letter from the attorney requesting another motion to claim exempt property. It has probably been four or five years since the first motion was filed with the court.

Yes - fill it out and return it promptly. They are trying to execute again.
