Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina

I have been served a writ of excution on a debt owed to a bank, as a result of a judgement against me. It states that there are ongoing interests and fees in addition to seizure of personal property. What can a sheriff take away as a result of this writ?

Did you fill out your exemption papers? Do you have anything that is worthwhile for the sheriff to take, like a paid car, land that is paid for or anything else of value? Do you hae any money in the bank?

What is your intent with regard to the judgment? Do you wish to file bankruptcy and does that make sense? If not, do you want to resolve the debt? Can you afford to enter into a payment arrangement to prevent the execution?

I do not know how to answer the question. I can tell you what is exempt under the law, but I do not know what you have or whether you filled out exemption papers so I do not know what assets the sheriff will take, if anything.
