Small Claims against an LLC

I need to file a small claims suit against an LLC - would the defendant be only the business or do I add the registered agent?

Keep in mind that I don't know the details of your case so I don't know who the proper defendants are. In a situation where someone is suing an LLC, the lawsuit names the LLC as a defendant. You would then serve the lawsuit on the registered agent.
