Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

I was with 2 other guys picking up scrap metal and the driver said he saw scrap metal on the side of the road made a u-turn and parked. We picked up some scrap and the driver seen this broken down building and went inside took out some metal pipes. The other guy and I said hey man we didn't come here to do that its not right. By the time we said that to him an under cover officer stopped and we all were charged with B&E. I do CI work for the police department on drug buy and weapon. The officers i do work for told me to spill my guts on the guy that went in the old broken down house. Do you think I could get the charges droped on me

It is sometimes possible to negotiate a dismissal with the Prosecutor if the evidence is very week and you are willing to testify for the State. You need a good and experienced criminal defense attorney to represent you in this matter, and you need to be prepared for trial if not. From what you stated, you were not in any way involved in the B&E.
