Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
In 1972 I had a "sale of mariwanna" charge against me that was nolle prossed. It never appeared anywhere in my record until I went to ge a concealed carry liscense 44 years later in 2016. The sheriff wants me to get the case dismissed at the district attorney iffice before they issuiea conveal carry liscense to me. They are saying it is still "pending"' as nolle prossed. Is this correct?
