My now 28 year old Son
My son was acuse of rape. he did not do it. it was told he was at a party, and he was drunk, and the girl to was drunk, they knew each other, they was messing around, then went in the bed, her boyfriend came back, found them, later weeks later the boyfriend told the girl to say he rape her. he was scared, and lied said he did not know the girl, he should not lied,but he did, because of the lie, he was found guilty, he had a good job, was in the sevice, he is young, it was told this is what happen, my son should not have to spend 6years in prison, he said mom i did not do this, i have letters he wrote me. a lawyer from the court, they are for the court he need someone for him to see that the girl did lied.

Without knowing more, I certainly believe that you will need a competent attorney. It also sounds like if it can't be resolved, it is likely to go to trial.
