Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
i was arrested and spent a night in jail in NC, charged with disorderly conduct, first offense. better to have a lawyer or just plead guilty and take it on the chin? can i get it thrown out if i represent myself? will being in the military make the judge more or less likely to throw it out? obviously looking to not spend anymore jail time, no time with my job and spend as little money as possible, having the mark on my record doesn't bother me.
