That's nice - is there a legal question? I assume you want to know what you can do to get the money back? Since you didn't provide any information the answer is it depends on several factors. However, it is most likely the case that you bought the car as is with no warranty, if so, you are basically screwed unless the individual wants to be nice and give you your money back but we all know the odds of that happening are less than slim and none.
